Day 2 - La Antigua - Coffee Farm - Macadamia Farm - The Ancient
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel to the area of Jocotenango, a small municipality of Sacatepéquez, arrival at Finca Filadelfia and visit the coffee plantation, cutting, washing and drying until we see the final product, we will finish with a tasting prepared by local baristas. In the afternoon, visit a macadamia plantation in the municipality of Ciudad Vieja. Return to La Antigua. Accommodation Camino Real Antigua Hotel.
Day 3 - La Antigua - Tecpán
Breakfast. Departure to Tecpán in the AltiplanoGuatemala region to visit Finca Caleras Chichavac, a combination of rural visit and agrotourism, we will stay in the administration house of said farm in coexistence with the family to which it belongs. Visit of the forests of Pinabetenacional (Abies Guatemalensis) and opportunity to see the plantations carried out on the farm for the conservation of this endemic species. Day 4 - Tecpán - Los Tarrales Reserve - Sponsorship Reserve
Breakfast. Departure to the Los Tarrales reserve, located in Patulul, a perfect habitat for birds and tropical flora, where we will be able to observe ornamental and coffee plantations.We will continue towards the Patrocinio reserve, where tropical agrotourism is developed, among them: plantations of papaya, banana, cocoa, coffee, macadamia, rambutan and mangosteen. Dinner and accommodation at Finca Patrocinio.
Day 5 - Reserve Sponsorship - Tululá Sugar Mill - Retalhuleu
Breakfast. Departure to the Tululá Mill, located in the productive department of Retalhuleu, characterized by its extensive sugarcane crops. In the Tululá Sugar Mill are the facilities of the largest alcohol and rum distillery in Guatemala, Ron Zacapa. Transfer to Retalhuleu. Dinner and accommodation at Takalik Maya Lodge.
Day 6 - Retalhuleu - Almolonga - Zunil - Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Exit from the tropical zone to the indigenous sierra, appreciate the empirical agricultural processes carried out by the indigenous people of the Almolonga area, the vegetable crops and their commercialization in the Zunil market. Opportunity to visit the colorful churches of these regions. In the afternoon, arrival at Lake Atitlán, which according to Huxley was the most beautiful in the world, with its three volcanoes and twelve indigenous towns. Overnight at Hotel Atitlán.
Day 7 - Lake Atitlán - Chichicastenango - Guatemala City
Breakfast. Early in the morning we will move to the town of Chichicastenango, where we will visit one of the most famous indigenous markets in all of Latin America. In the afternoon, continuation to Guatemala City. Accommodation at Hotel Barceló.
Day 8 - Transfer to the airport or bus station
